The role: We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using Odoo ERP.It involves customizing and extending Odoo modules to meet the specific needs of our educational technology applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo development, a passion for technology, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
●Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications.
●Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
●Design and implement custom features and functionalities in Odoo.
●Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and services.
●Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo modules and applications.
●Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
●Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
●Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
●Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Odoo development.
Skills you need for this role:
● 8 years of experience in a similar profile.
●Good Proficiency in Python programming and understanding of its frameworks.
●Strong knowledge of Odoo’s architecture, development, and customization.
●Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
● Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
●Good Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
●Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
●Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
●Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
●Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Odoo.sh platform.
●Knowledge of various Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc. Experience in implementing Odoo in different industries.
●Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
