How it works
🎯 Predict the score
For every match, predict the exact 90-minute score (full-time, before any extra time or penalties). You can change your prediction any time until kick-off — after that it locks.
🧮 Points
- 5 points — you got the exact score right.
- 2 points — you got the winner (or draw) right, but not the exact score.
- 0 points — otherwise.
🥅 Knockout matches (penalties)
From the Round of 32, if a match is level after 90 minutes it goes to 30 minutes of extra time, and then a penalty shootout if still level. Predict the Full-Time score — that's the score after extra time (120 minutes) when it's played. If you predict a tie, also tap which team advances on penalties.
- 5 — exact Full-Time score and the right team through.
- 2 — right team through, but not the exact score.
- 0 — wrong team through (a correct tie with the wrong penalty pick scores 0).
👑 Champion pick — win up to ₹1 lakh
Pick the team you think will win the whole World Cup from the bar at the top of every page. You can change your pick anytime until the final kicks off— after that it's locked. Everyone whose locked pick is the actual champion goes into a lucky draw for a prize of up to ₹1 lakh. The list narrows to the teams still in the running as the knockouts play out.
💰 ₹500 per match
Among everyone who predicted the exact score of a match, we pick one winner at random (a lucky draw) and give them ₹500. The more matches you nail exactly, the more draws you're in.
🏆 Leaderboards
- Daily — points you earned on a single day's matches.
- Overall — your points added up across the whole tournament. The top of this board wins the grand prize at the end.
🏫 School leaderboard
When you register, pick your school. Every point you earn also adds to your school's total on the Schools leaderboard (filterable by district). Get your friends to join and predict — together you climb the rankings for your school!
📅 What's a “day”?
Matches are grouped into Day 1, Day 2, … by the US match-day, since games kick off late at night in India (10:30 PM, 12:30 AM, even 6:00 AM). Each match still shows its real IST kick-off time.
